Wishlist……baby bags

As you may or may not know, I gave birth to my second baby girl, Evelyn May, a few weeks ago. We already had everything we could possibly need from our first baby so I didn’t get to do any baby shopping. However one thing I never had was a baby bag to carry all the essentials when I’m out and about. I found these, but have been told I’m dreaming!

Gucci

We wish for….a totally awesome makeup case!

We both use, and have always used, just a standard boring makeup case (I think I even got mine at Bunnings) Don’t get us wrong, they do their job and they do it well, but…..

Secretly we have been wishing for a totally awesome case with lights and wheels and all that stuff. A bit like these ones.

I don’t know if you can see it, but this one is pink alligator skin, my favourite!

We would settle for a black one though.

There is no real reason that we haven’t got one of these yet but they are harder to find in Australia. These ones were from Coco Martinelli there is heaps of makeup brushes, cases, makeup, jewellery cases and lots more. It is an American based website but I think they ship to Australia.

All I Want For Christmas is…….

The time has come, there are only a few weeks left until Christmas. For anyone stuck for ideas about what we would like for Christmas we have compiled a short (ish) list of things we would love to find under the tree on Christmas morning (thanks Santa).

Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturising Lip Colour Balm in Whoppin’ Watermelon. I think its the name that has me sold on this one.  I love it! Chubby Stick, hahahah ahhh. Apart from the name this super-nourishing balm is loaded with mango and shea butters. Just what dry, delicate lips need to feel comfortably soft and smooth. Available in 8 natural looking tints, with sheen.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream – the best of skincare with the benefit of make-up. 1 product to deliver 5 instant benefits: Hydrates for 24hrs, Evens tone, Corrects blemishes, Boosts healthy glow, UV Protection SPF 15. So why wouldn’t you want this?!

Uberkate Love Lines Pendant – we have just given away one of these beautiful pendants and now I would like one too!

Kardasian Kolor – Nicole by OPI has joined forces with this famous family and developed some pretty rad colours for our pretty fingers. There are 14 shades in the collection and I plan to get everyone on them (you here that bf! All of them). And they are a bargain at only $14.95, pretty great for OPI right!?!

November Wish List

Here is a list of The Makeup Cases wish / dream list for November. With so many amazing products out this month it was really hard to narrow the list down to just a few. We really love writing these list because it is a way for us to keep track of everything we want, that way we never forget and when we have a few extra dollars we have an excuse to buy stuff (sorry bf, I know how much you love my beauty spending). So here it goes, our November list of wants and must have’s;

1. Soft Lips Pure Organics in Acai Berry: A 100% organic lip balm that tastes like Berries, yum! It nourishes, conditions and moisturizes the lips at the same time. A must have for the hot summer weather. RRP: $4.99 from Coles, Woolworths, Priceline and Big W. *Image courtesy of beautydirectory.com

2. MOR marshmallow Perfume Oil: I was in love with the MOR marshmallow body wash a couple of years ago and I cant wait to get my hands on this perfume! The smell is so sweet I want to eat it all up. FYI bf, there is also a marshmallow candle. Hello, an early Christmas present perhaps? RRP: $19.95 *Image courtesy of beautydirectory.com.

3. M.A.C lipstick in Plum Bright: Such a beautiful colour. I am really loving the purple lipsticks at the moment, must be all the Underbelly I am watching. RRP: $36.00 from M.A.C stores. * Image courtesy of maccosmetics.com.au

4. Happy 7/11 Day: Now this is an important one and something we will most definitely be doing! Head into any 7/11 store on the 07th November and you can grab a free slurpie. So we can all celebrate 7/11 birthday. Lets hope that it is a nice hot day so the slurpies go down extra fine. Happy 7/11 Day everyone!

Our October Wishlist…

Okay so here it goes, our first Wishlist! We are always rambling onto each other about amazing products we would love to try, and always seem to forget them in a week or so. It then baffle us how we can be so in love with a product one week, wanting it so badly, and then the next week we struggle to remember what the product actually was. Until we are talking about a completely separate topic and the product would then spring to mind again. So we got to thinking, if we wrote it all down then we would have a constant reminder, a kind of check list that we can always refer back to. And here it is, our wish list (or should we say ‘our I want it so badly I could die list’).

Rae Morris Brush Set.

The ultimate item on our wish list. Not only are they an amzing set of makeup brushes they are also designed by our idol Rae Morris. There are 26 brushes in the set and are all made from animal hair with bamboo handles. Oh how we would love one of these babies in our makeup kit. RRP: A hefty $899.00. We might be waiting a while for this one, a girl can dream. *Image courtesy of crownbrush.com.au

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in No: 11.

A really pretty deep purple colour. Kind of like the one Tilly Devine wears in Underbelly Razor. I am not quiet sure if I can rock this colour but, I sure am going to try. And it will be a nice change to the usual red lipstick that has become my usual color of choice.

An Ecoya candle in the French Pear fragrance.

It is amazing how much this candle actually smells like pears! I just want to buy one and burn it all day long, and with 55 hours of burn time I really could. RRP: Around the $50.00 mark for the 270g metro jar.

M.A.C Posh Paradise Paint Pot in Pure Creation.

With out a doubt no matter what M.A.C counter I walk into this baby is SOLD OUT! The paint pot is a little tub of eye shadow. When you apply it to your eyes it goes on creamy and then dries to revel a viberant colour of amazingness (okay, that’s not technically a word but, there is nothing else to describe it). RRP for this hard to find wonder is $35.00.
