Banish Blackheads

In the latest (November) issue of Cleo mag there was a sample of Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. Now I haven’t used these in ages and to be honest, I didn’t even know that they were available any more. However, I do remember how much I loved using them and seeing how much dirt came out of the pores on my nose when I peeled it off. (yuuuck!) I couldn’t wait to get home and try it, it was on my mind all day!

I applied the strip following the instructions on the pack. I washed my face first then, wet my nose and applied the strip. Once it was dry (about 10 ish minutes) I slowly removed the strip revealing the dirt and yucky stuff that gets stuck in your pores. I wont show you the results but if you have ever used one of these strips you’ll know what it looked like, just let me say it worked really really well.

I think that these are going to be my new favourite thing, there is something strangely satisfying about seeing the tiny little forest of dirt on the strip. It is recommended that you use one strip weekly and not on sunburn, sensitive or acne prone skin.  Biore make a whole range of these strips for your nose and face and they even make an Ultra version, also a range of cleansers, toners and moisturisers.

Why not check them out yourself, available at Priceline, Target, Big W, Coles, Woolworths and Pharmacies or online at Biore

The Beauty Panel

Its only been on the shelves for a day or 2 but make sure you get to your nearest newsagent and grab the latest issue of Cleo magazine (it has Miranda Kerr on the cover) Once purchased, please turn straight to page 82 and check out the beauty panel, you’ll notice a familiar face as one of the test subjects.

I was lucky enough to review two great products, Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Reviving Leg and Foot Mist and Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. I wont tell you all about them now but we have reviewed the nails previously and you’ll have to check out Cleo for the foot spray (just quietly, it was really awesome).
